EDGING:
Don’t fasten off, but work evenly 3 rows of sc across one side of front opening. Fasten off. Do the same with the other side (starting from the bottom, and taking care that you work the same amount of sc as for first edge), but in the 2nd row make button holes.

used 1,7cm buttons, you can skip more sts and work more ch if you are going to use bigger buttons, or if using smaller buttons, reduce to one skipped st and one ch). When it is done, work:
Ch1, sc in next st, *ch2, skip next 2sts, sc until the next buttonhole*, repeat from * to end, turn
Work one more row of sc in each st and in each button hole – you should work as many sc in one buttonhole as many stitches you skipped. Without fastening off, evenly work sc around the collar. Fasten off.

Sew buttons opposite the button holes.
Weave in all ends.
