Description of knitting for the top

Note: knitting for the top begins with a 4-part basque. Then the loops of all 4 parts of the Basques are transferred to circular knitting needles and the bodice is knitted - to the armholes with a single canvas.

The back panel of the Basques: on long circular knitting needles, dial 82 (88) p. And knit with the front surface in rows in the forward and reverse directions, starting with izn. row and knitting it purl. Through 21 cm = 38 p. close 30 pips on both sides, and temporarily leave the middle 22 (28) p.

The front panel of the Basques: knit like the back panel.

Lateral part of the Basques: dial 22 p. And knit with the front surface in rows in the forward and reverse directions, starting with izn. row and knitting it purl. After 23 cm = 41 p. close 1 extreme loop on both sides, temporarily leave the remaining 20 p. Knit the second side part the same way.

Bodice top: knit on short circular knitting needles with a face stitch in a circle: knit 22 (28) p. Back of the basques, 20 p. Of the side, 22 (28) p. n. In the 6th p. from the beginning of the bodice add 4 p. for the back and front (see Increases). Repeat the increments in each 6th p. 2 more times = 96 (108) p. In the 2nd r. on the lateral parts on each side of the average 8 p. add 1 p. (see Add-ons) = 4 p. are added in a row = 2 p., respectively, on the back and front.

Repeat these increases in the same places in each 4th r. another 9 times. Simultaneously after the 3rd increase on the sides = 16 cm = 29 p. from the beginning of the bodice (= on the knitting needles 108 (120) p.) the loops for the formation of the armholes should be divided in the middle of the lateral parts and end the back and before separately. In the 1st r. dial 1 edge loop = 56 (62) loops on both sides.

Back: continue to perform increases. When the height of the armhole is 15.5 (16.5) cm in 28 (30) p., Close on both sides for the shoulder bevels in every 2nd p. 3 times at 5 p. And 2 times at 4 p. (1 time at 6 p. And 4 times at 5 p.). Simultaneously with the second closing of the hinges for the shoulder bevels, close the middle 14 points for the neck and finish both sides separately. To round off the neck, decrease from the inner edge in every 2 r. 2 times 2 p. And 1 time 1 p. (See Decreases). Finish the second side in mirror image.

Before: knit like a back, but with a deeper neck: when the height of the armhole is 10 (11) cm = 18 (20) p., Close the middle 8 p. And finish both sides separately. To round off the neck, decrease from the inner edge in every 2 r. 8 times 1 p. (See Decreases). Finish the second side in mirror image.

Assembly: complete the Basque seams. Perform shoulder seams. On short circular knitting needles, dial 71 p. Along the edge of the neck and knit 1 p. facial while closing the loop.
