Patterns and schemes

Front surface Front
rows - front loops, wrong rows - wrong loops.

Handkerchief Front
and back rows - front loops.

The main pattern
After the initial row or set of loops, knit 1 wrong row of faces! Then, between the edge ones, alternately perform 2 rows of front stitch and 2 rows of garter stitch.

Square
1 square consists of 4 triangles, see triangles 1–4 in the diagram. The dashed lines indicate the edges for a set of loops. Solid line = seam; arrows in triangles = direction of knitting.

1st triangle: put 22 (24) stitches on the knitting needles and knit with the main pattern. At the same time, knit along the right edge in each front row after the hem 20 (22) x 2 loops together front. After 11 cm = 41 rows (12 cm = 45 rows) from the initial row, leave the remaining 2 loops.

2nd triangle: to the left 2 loops, dial on the left side of the previous triangle 20 (22) loops. On these 22 (24) loops, knit with the main pattern, while on the right edge, as before, reduce 20 (22) x 1 p. After 11 cm = 41 rows (12 cm = 45 rows) from the set of loops, leave the remaining 2 p.

3rd triangle: knit like a 2nd triangle.

4th triangle: knit like the 2nd triangle, but knit the remaining 2 points together with the front, cut the thread, leaving an end of approx. 25 cm, and stretch it through the last loop. With the end of the thread, make a seam between the 4th and 1st triangles.

Three quarters of a square
Perform only 1-3 triangles of a square, then knit the remaining 2 stitches together with the front, cut the thread and stretch it through the last loop.

Separate triangle.
Collect 16 stitches on the knitting needles and knit with the main pattern. At the same time, knit along the right edge in each front row after the edge 14 x 2 p. Together front. After 8 cm = 29 rows from the initial row, knit the remaining 2 loops together with the front, cut the thread and stretch it through the last loop.

Coloring The
color of the sweater is obtained due to the sectionally dyed yarn, so the associated models may differ from the presented sample. To obtain solid triangles, you can, if necessary, start each triangle with a new thread of the desired color.

Knitting density
20 p. X 37 p. = 10 x 10 cm, connected by the main pattern;
1 square = 15.5 x 15.5 (17 x 17) cm.

Attention!
To ensure that the squares for the pullover are even, before stitching, stretch them to the size indicated on the pattern 16 x 16 (17.5 x 17.5) cm and dry under a damp cloth. Only after this, sew the squares according to pattern and instructions. Coloring can be chosen as desired.

Plans

to work

backrest
Run 12 squares and sew into a rectangle of 3 x 4 squares.

Before
Run 11 squares and 1 three-quarters of the square and sew into a 3x4 square rectangle, with three quarters of the square placed in the middle of the top row, the notch forms a neckline.

Sleeves
For each sleeve, complete 6 squares and sew into a 2 x 3 square rectangle. Then make 2 separate triangles and according to to a pattern to sew them on both sides flush with the top edge, the inclined edge while pointing down.

Assembly
Perform shoulder seams on both sides at 16 (17.5) cm = 1 side of the square.

Sew 72 (80) stitches on short circular knitting needles along the edge of the neck and knit 10 cm garter stitch for the collar. Then close the hinges as if they were facial ones.

The hem is hemmed in half.

On the lower edge of the sleeve, dial on the knitting needles from each square 28 (31) p. And on these 56 (62) p. Knit 1 wrong side of the front row. Then close the hinges as if they were facial ones.

Sew on sleeves acc. size on the pattern. Make side seams and sleeve seams. On the lower edge of the pullover, dial 28 (31) sts from each square on long circular knitting needles and on these 168 (186) loops, knit 1 circular row with the wrong ones. Then close all the loops as face.
