CHARMING AMIGURUMI OWL

We knit an owl :))) 


We will need: 


- yarn is blue, blue, orange, a little turquoise and black; 
- hook; 
- filler; 
- white felt; 
- safe eye; 
- needle and scissors; 
- glue. 


Abbreviations: 


RLS - single crochet 
P - increase 
Y - decrease 
SS - connecting column 
PSSN - half 
-column with crochet SSN - double crochet. 

EYES. 


We knit 2 spots with blue yarn. 

Row 1: 6SBN in the amigurumi ring (6); 
Row 2: 6P (12); 
Row 3: (RLS, P) - 6 times (18); 
Row 4: (2СБН, П) - 6 times (24); 
Row 5: (3СБН, П) - 6 times (30). 

Finish knitting SS. Cut the thread, leaving a long end for sewing. 

Take a white felt and cut 2 identical circles about 2 cm in diameter. 

In one of the pieces, make a small hole in the center. Insert a safety eye into this hole and into one of the connected blue spots between rows 2 and 3. Take the second piece of felt and a needle with black thread. Embroider a winking eye and glue it to the second blue spot, which we tied out a little earlier. Set your eyes aside. BODY - 1 part. 






We start knitting from the upper body with blue yarn. 

Row 1: 6SBN in the amigurumi ring (6); 
Row 2: 6P (12); 
Row 3: (RLS, P) - 6 times (18); 
Row 4: (2СБН, П) - 6 times (24); 
Row 5: (3СБН, П) - 6 times (30); 
Row 6: (4СБН, П) - 6 times (36); 
Row 7: (5СБН, П) - 6 times (42); 
Row 8: (6СБН, П) - 6 times (48); 
Row 9: (7СБН, П) - 6 times (54); 
Row 10-17: 54SBN (54); 
Row 18: (7СБН, У) - 6 times (48); 

change the yarn to blue; 

Row 19: 48СБН behind the back wall of the loop (48); 
Row 20-21: 48SBN (48);

Position the blue spot with the eye open so that the safety eye is attached between the 14th and 15th rows. Do not rush to fasten. Attach a second eye close by and make sure both eyes are in place. The top of the spots should be located in rows 9/10, and the bottom - at 18/19. To better see the picture, fill your head with a little filler. When your eyes are comfortable, fasten the safe eye.

Finish knitting, pull the hole, hide the thread. 

BEAC - 1 piece. 
Knit with orange yarn. 

Row 1: 4SBN in the amigurumi ring (4); 
Row 2: (RLS, P) - 2 times (6); 
Row 3: (2СБН, П) - 2 times (8); 
Row 4: (3СБН, П) - 2 times (10). 

Finish knitting SS. Trim the thread, leaving a long end for sewing. Fill the beak. Sew it between the 15th and 19th rows of the body, right under the eyes. 

EAR - 2 parts. 


Knit blue yarn. 

Row 1: 6SBN in the amigurumi ring (6); 
Row 2: (2СБН, П) - 2 times (8); 
Row 3: (3СБН, П) - 2 times (10); 
Row 4: (4СБН, П) - 2 times (12); 
Row 5: (RLS, P) - 6 times (18). 

Finish knitting, cut the thread, leaving a long end for sewing. Sew the ears in rows 8 and 9. Hide the thread. 

WINGS - 2 parts. 


Knit blue yarn. 

Row 1: 6SBN in the amigurumi ring (6); 
Row 2: (RLS, P) - 6 times (12); 
Row 3: (1СБН, П) - 6 times (18); 
Row 4: (2СБН, П) - 6 times (24); 
Row 5: (3СБН, П) - 6 times (30); 
Row 6: (4СБН, П) - 6 times (36); 
Row 7: PSSN in 1 loop; CCH in 2 loop; 2 columns with 2 double crochets in 3 stitches; 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 double crochet in 4 stitches; 2 columns with 2 double crochets in 5 stitches; CCH in 6 loop; PSSN in the 7th loop; SS in 8 loop. 

Finish knitting, cut the thread, leaving a long end for sewing. Sew wings between 17 and 28 rows. Do not sew on the pointed end of the wings. Leave it free so you can swing your wings a little. 

TAIL. 


Knit blue yarn. 

Forked tip - 2 parts. 

Row 1: 6SBN in the amigurumi ring (6); 
Row 2: 6P (12); 
Row 3-5: 12SBN (12); 
Row 6: (2СБН, У) - 3 times (9). 
When knitting one piece, finish knitting. 

Row 7: connect the two tails with a thread of the unfinished part and continue to knit, knitting 18СБН (18); 
Row 8: 18SBN (18); 
Row 9: (4СБН, У) - 3 times (15); 
Row 10: 15SBN (15); 
Row 11: (3СБН, У) - 3 times (12); 
Row 12-13: 12SBN (12). 

Connect both ends of the tail, folding the part in half, and connect them by knitting 6СБН through the loops of both sides. 
Finish knitting, cut the thread, leaving a long end for sewing. Sew a tail on the 29th row of the body of an owl.

Knit with orange yarn. 

Row 1: 6SBN in the amigurumi ring (6); 
Row 2: 6P (12); 
Row 3-4: 12SBN (12); 
Row 5: (2СБН, У) - 3 times (9); 
Row 6-8: 9SBN (9). 

Finish knitting by knitting SS. Cut the thread, leaving a long end for sewing. Insert the pieces of wire bent in half into the tabs. Do not stuff. Sew the legs between 32 and 34 rows. Hide the end of the thread. 
Take a turquoise thread and embroider crosses on the owl’s stomach. Start on the 21st row of the body and end on the 31st. Leave one row between the crosses. 

Congratulations! Now your amigurumi owl is ready.
