Thanks to the play of colors and patterns, you can create a magnificent example of a
knitted Norwegian sweater. Extravagant and chic!
Sizes: 36/38 (40/42 - 44/46) 48/50
You will need:
Yarn 1 (100% sheep wool; 120 m / 50 g) - 200 (250 - 250) 300 g col. cyclamen, 200 (250 - 250) 250 g of sulfur and 100 (150 - 150) 150 g of powdery pink;
yarn 2 (70% mohair, 30% silk; 210 m / 25 g) - 25 (25 - 50) 50 g of bright pink and 25 g of light beige; knitting needles No. 4; circular knitting needles No. 4, length 40 cm.
Patterns:
Front surface Front
rows - front loops, wrong rows - wrong loops.
Openwork pattern
Start knitting for 30 p. According to the above pattern. Edge edges on the right edge, as a nodular edge, see page А3, edge edges on the left edge - as a straight edge with a front smooth surface, see page A2. In height, constantly repeat the 1–16th p.
Stripes alternation A
Knit with front stitch alternately 2 p. col. cyclamen and 2 p. bright pink thread.
Stripes alternation B
Knit with front stitch alternately 2 p. powdery pink and 2 p. light beige thread.
Vertical jacquard pattern
Knit with front stitch alternately 2 p. Gray and 2 p. Thread color. cyclamen, while with a color change, a non-working thread is constantly freely carried out on the wrong side of the knitting.
Norwegian pattern
Knit according to the counting pattern with front stitch using the jacquard technique. Start 11 (15 - 19) 23 p. Between arrows a (b - c) d and the 1st double arrow, repeat rapport 3 times = 28 p. Between double arrows and end 12 (16 - 20) 24 p. After 2 -th double arrow to arrow e (f - g) h. Knit 1–40th p. 1 time in height, at the same time knit loops in the wrong row of stitches in the color matching the pattern.
The edge loop
of the 1st and last stitches of each row should be knitted with the front smoothness in the color of the corresponding pattern, unless otherwise indicated.
Double loop
At the beginning of the row (after the turn), lay the thread before work, insert the spoke on the right in the 1st paragraph and remove the loop with the thread. Then pull the thread back strongly, as a result, the loop is put on the knitting needle and you get a double loop.
Shortened rows
For shoulder bevels on the back and front, perform shortened rows. To do this, as indicated in the instructions, at the end of the row, leave the loops untied, then rotate, perform the 1st step as a double loop, and knit the row in the opposite direction. In the next row, take both parts of the double loop together and knit according to the pattern of the front or back.
Knitting density:
30 p. X 27 p. = 14 x 10 cm, knitted with an openwork pattern with a woolen thread;
20 p. X 25 p. = 10 x 10 cm, knitted with a smooth surface with a woolen thread;
20 p. X 28 p. = 10 x 10 cm, alternating stripes are connected.
Attention!
The jumper is designed as an oversize model, that is, “dimensionless”. First tie the lower trims in the transverse direction. Then dial loops at the straight edges of the trims for the back, front and sleeves. The arrows in the pattern indicate the direction of knitting.
Back:
For the strap, use gray thread to knit 30 loops on the knitting needles, knit 1 wrong side of the wrong side and then knit 53 (53 - 59) 65 cm = 143 (143 - 159) 175 p. openwork pattern.
In the next seamy row, close the loops, as in the case of seamy knitting.
For a back on the straight edge of a level a thread color. cyclamen to dial on the needles 107 (115 - 123) 131 p. = 1st p. and then knit as follows: 1 wrong side color. cyclamen, 8 cm = 21 p. alternation of bands A, 1.5 cm = 2 p. facial and 2 p. purl gray thread, 5 cm = 12 p. vertical jacquard pattern, 1.5 cm = 2 p. facial and 2 p. purl gray thread, 8 cm = 22 p. alternating bands B, 1.5 cm = 2 p. facial and 2 p. purl fl. cyclamen, 16 cm = 40 p. Norwegian pattern, 1.5 cm = 2 p. facial and 2 p. purl fl. cyclamen, then, starting from the 2nd p., continue to knit alternating stripes A with a powdery-pink thread with facial smoothness
After 8 cm = 23 p. alternating stripes A (after the left row with the thread of color cyclamen), starting from the 1 wrong side, knit for the shoulder bevels in short rows with a double loop as follows: knit the back to the last 7 (8 - 9) 10 p., turn, knit with the front to last 7 (8 - 9) 10 p., turn.
Then, on each side, leave 7 (8 - 9) 10 p. More untied 3 more times.
After the last front row knitted on the middle 51 p., Do not turn anymore, but finish the row 28 (32 - 36) 40 p. Of the left shoulder to the left edge, with both parts of the double loop knit together.
Knit another 1 seamy row on all 107 (115 - 123) 131 sts, while on the right shoulder knit both parts of the double loop together.
Then close all the loops, as in facial knitting.
Before:
Knit like a back, but for a deeper neck after 8 cm = 22 p. alternate bands A to knit and temporarily leave the middle 41 p. and first finish the left side. On the inner edge for rounding the neck close in every 2 r. another 1 x 2 p. and 3 x 1 p.
Finish the other side symmetrically.
Sleeves:
For the strap, with gray thread, dial 30 loops on the needles for each sleeve, knit 1 wrong seam and 23 (23 - 29) 29 cm = 63 (63 - 79) 79 p. openwork pattern.
In the next seamy row, close the loops, as in the case of seamy knitting.
For each sleeve, dial on the knitting needles along the straight edge of the bar with thread color. cyclamen on 46 (50 - 58) 62 loops = 1st p. and, starting with 1 wrong side of the thread color. cyclamen, continue to knit alternating stripes A. In 7 (9 - 7) 9th p. add 1 x 1 p. for bevels on both sides of the bar, then in each 6th p. (alternately in each 4th and 6th p. - alternately in each 4th and 6th p.) in each 4th p. add 10 (10 - 10) 12 x 1 p. = 68 (72 - 80) 88 p.
After 25 (23.5 - 22) 20.5 cm = 70 (66 - 62) 58 p. from the strap knit 1.5 cm = 2 p. facial and 2 p. purl gray thread, 5 cm = 12 p. vertical jacquard pattern, 1.5 cm = 2 p. facial and 2 p. purl gray thread.
Then close all the loops.
Assembly:
Perform shoulder seams.
Thread color cyclamen to dial on circular knitting needles along the edge of the neck of the back 51 p. and on the left front rounding of the neck 9 p., 41 left the loop to knit the front and on the right rounding to dial 9 p. = 110 p.
For the bar, tie 3 cm = 7 circle. facial smoothness. Then close all the loops, as in facial knitting.
Sew sleeves between the marks on the pattern pattern to the back and front, while aligning the middle of the ridge with the shoulder seam.
Make side seams and sleeve seams.
