JACKET AND TOP WITH AN OPENWORK PATTERN DEUCE WITH A TWIST

Click For Crochet Abbreviations List

Short over long - before us is a "deuce" with a twist! However, you can wear both a jacket without a fastener and a top up to the middle of the thigh separately.

THE SIZE
38/40

YOU WILL NEED
Yarn (100% cotton; 110 m / 50 g) - for top 350 g beige-brown-gray sectional dyeing, for a jacket 400 g col. Caramel for the top, circular knitting needles No. 4; for the jacket, circular knitting needles No. 4 and 5.

PATTERNS AND SCHEMES

FACE FACE
Circular rows: front loops.

Rows in the forward and reverse direction: front rows - front loops, wrong rows - wrong loops.

PATENT EDGE (ON 3 LOOPS)
In the front row, knit the first and last 3 loops of the row with the front ones, in the wrong row, remove these loops as purl, while stretching the thread before work.

UNDERLINED DECREASES
From the right edge = knit the last loop of pattern 3 with the next loop together with the front one and tilt to the left (remove 1 loop as the front one, 1 front, then stretch it through the removed loop).

From the left edge = knit the last loop in front of the patent edge with the 1st loop of pattern 3 together with the front.

Openwork pattern for the top.
Circular rows (the number of loops is a multiple of 12) = knit acc. Scheme 1. On it are given odd circular rows. In even circular rows, knit all loops and yarn over the front. Continuously repeat rapport and 1–20th circular rows.

OPEN PATTERN A
The number of loops is a multiple of 12 + 7 + 2 hem = knit acc. Scheme 1. On it are given the front rows. In the wrong rows, knit all loops and crochets on the wrong side. Start with 1 edge and loops before rapport, repeat the rapport constantly, end loops after rapport and 1 edge. Constantly repeat the 1st to 20th rows.

OPEN PATTERN B
Knit as a pattern 2, but according to Scheme 2, in this case, start with 1 edge and loops before rapport, repeat the rapport constantly, end the loop after rapport and 1 edge.

CLOSING HINGE IN ICELAND
First loop knit front. * Return the loop, as if on the wrong side, to the left knitting needle. Insert the right knitting needle, as for the wrong loop, into the 1st loop, then knit the 2nd loop to the front and pull the thread through the 1st loop, then lower the loop from the left knitting needle. From * constantly repeat until all loops are used up.

GARMENT KNITTING
Front and back rows - front loops.

KNITTING DENSITY
21.5 p. X 28.5 circle = 10 x 10 cm, knitted with an openwork pattern for the top;
23 p.x 30.5 circle.R./R. = 10 x 10 cm, connected by front stitch.
21.5 p. X 28.5 circle = 10 x 10 cm, connected by an openwork pattern A and B.

ATTENTION
Due to the large number of loops, we recommend knitting a jacket on circular knitting needles in rows in the forward and reverse direction.

Knit a jacket without shoulder seams with a single fabric, while starting with separate knitting of the shelves. On the pattern, the jacket in the lower part is calculated by the density of knitting of the front surface, in the upper part by the density of knitting of openwork patterns. The difference is attributed to the sleeves.

Then knit to the armhole in circular rows. The difference in the density of knitting on the pattern is assigned to the side bevels.

PATTERN

COMPLETING OF THE WORK

JACKET
For the left shelf on knitting needles No. 4, dial 43 loops with a cruciform set and knit with the front stitch.

After 24.5 cm = 74 rows from the initial row, dial 1 x 12 p. For the sleeve on the right edge, then in each 2nd row 6 x 12 p. And 1 x 14 p. = 141 p.

After 29.5 cm = 90 rows from the initial row to continue work with openwork pattern A.

Through 14 cm = 40 rows from changing the pattern, lay all the loops.

Then, for the right shelf to dial the spokes 43 n. Phillips set and knit in mirror image, in this case through the 29.5 cm = 90 rows from the initial series to continue to work with openwork pattern B. At the same height postpone 141 n.

In order to make a copy on the back spokes deferred 141 points of the left shelf, dial 21 points for the neck of the back and reshoot the deferred 141 points of the right shelf.

Then continue work on all 303 p. With openwork pattern A, at the same time start with 1 hem and loops before rapport, repeat the rapport constantly and at the end of the row, instead of gray loops, knit 2 loops together front, hem.

After 14 cm = 40 rows from the shoulder, continue to work with facial smoothness.

After 0.5 cm = 2 rows from the pattern change, close for the end of the sleeves on both sides 1 x 14 p., Then in each 2nd row close 7 x 12 p. = 107 p.

After 29.5 cm = 90 rows from change of a pattern to close all loops with a double thread on knitting needles No. 5.

ASSEMBLY
For the plank, dial 225 loops on the knitting needles No. 4 along the edge of the neck and sides of the shelves and, starting from the wrong side, knit 7 rows with a garter stitch. Then close all the loops in Icelandic.

For the straps of the sleeves, dial 63 loops on the knitting needles along the edge of each sleeve and knit in the same way.

Make side seams and sleeve seams.

TOP
Put on the knitting needles of 216 loops with a cruciform set, lock in a ring and knit with an openwork pattern.

Through 21 cm = 60 circle continue work from the initial row with the front stitch, while in the 1st circular row mark the 108th and 216th loops of the circular row and, as the work progresses, transfer the markers to the next row = side lines.

At the same time, to reduce the width, decrease on both sides in each 10th circle. from changing the pattern 4 x 2 p. as follows: remove the marked loops with the previous loop together as the front ones, 1 front, then stretch it through the removed loops. At the end of the reductions on the knitting needles will remain 200 p.

For armholes through 28 cm = 86 circular rows, from the pattern change, leave the first 100 p. For the front and for the remaining 100 p. Continue work for the back with the front smooth surface in circular rows, while in the 1st row, close for armholes on both sides 1 x 5 paragraph and continue to work on both sides by 3 paragraphs of the patent edge.

For further rounding of the armholes, it is emphasized to reduce in each 2nd row 8 x 1 p. = 74 p.

After 41.5 cm = 126 circle r / r. from changing the pattern leave for the neck an average of 20 p. and finish both sides separately.

For rounding along the inner edge in each 2nd row, 1 x 5 p., 1 x 3 p., 1 x 2 p. And 1 x 1 p.

Through 48 cm = 146 circle.r./r. from changing the pattern, close the remaining 16 p. shoulders. Then turn on the work left 100 p. For transfer and knit in the same way. However, for a deeper cutout of the neck, after 36 cm = 110 circles.r./r. postpone the average 18 p. from the pattern change, then close 12 x 1 p. in each 2nd row.

ASSEMBLY
Perform shoulder seams.

To retake on the knitting needles 20 p. Backs, as well as 18 p. Front, on both sides dial 50 p. On the edge of the neck and set aside all 138 p.

For the hollow cord, type 3 p. On the knitting needles and knit as follows : * 2 front, then knit the last loop of the strap with the next delayed loop together with the front crossed and again return 3 p. To the left knitting needle, from * constantly repeat until all the delayed loops have been used up. Then close these 3 p. And sew with loops of the initial row.

Run side seams.
