The unusual openwork pattern of this sweater looks primarily because at the end of the work the front side becomes the wrong side.

S (M) L (XL)
Yarn (50% cotton, 50% wool; 50 g / 155 m) - 4 (4) 4 (5) skeins of gray-white; circular knitting needles No. 4.5 and 5.5, length 40 and 60 cm; stocking knitting needles No. 4,5 and 5,5.

Knit according to the pattern.

Alternately 1 persons., 1 out.

Reduce 1 point on both sides of the front loops = 8 decreases in a circular row.

Before facial loops: knit the last 2 p. Together with the front.

After the purl stitches: 1 point, remove, knit the next loop with the front and pull the removed loop through the knitted one.

12 p. X 22 p. = 10 x 10 cm, knitted with an openwork pattern with knitting needles No. 5.5.

The product is knitted with the wrong side outward, i.e. first, the outward side of the front surface of the openwork pattern, as shown in the diagram, then the work is rotated so that as a result, the final pattern is formed from the wrong side.

On circular knitting needles No. 4,5, dial 116 (120) 128 (136) p. And knit in a circle 10 p. rubber band.

Then go to the knitting needles No. 5.5, knit 1 p. facial and continue the work according to the scheme.

On both sides, dial with a contrasting thread along the loop and perform an openwork pattern in the direction of the contrast mark. Each time after the label, start the circuit anew (do not include the contrasting loop in the openwork pattern).

When the length of the product is 39 (40) 40 (41) cm, close on both sides for armholes for 2 p. = 56 (58) 62 (66) p. For the front and back. Work temporarily postponed.

For stocking knitting needles No. 4.5, dial 34 (34) 36 (38) p. And knit in a circle 10 p. rubber band.

Go to the knitting needles number 5.5, knit 1 row of facial and continue the work according to the scheme.

On the inner side of the sleeve in the middle, draw a loop with a contrasting thread and perform an openwork pattern to a contrast loop (do not include a contrast loop in the openwork pattern).

After 12 p. on the inside of the sleeve in the middle add 2 p. (= 1 p. after the first loop and 1 p. before the last loop).

Repeat these increments in each 12th r. - total 3 (4) 5 (5) times = 40 (42) 46 (48) p.

When the part is 38 (39) 40 (40) cm, close 2 p. = 38 (40) from the inside of the sleeve 44 (46) p. And leave work temporarily.

Knit the second sleeve the same way.

Loop the sleeves of the sleeves to one circular knitting needle with the front and back between them = 188 (196) 216 (228) p.

At all transitions between the parts (between the back, front and sleeves) dial 1 contrast loop = 4 contrast loops. Knit in a circle 1 p. without reductions, while at the transitions between parts knit 1 person. on both sides of the contrasting loops = 4 times 2 persons. Tie these loops (= raglan lines) to the end of work.

Start to decrease, as described above, and continue to reduce the loops on both sides of the facial loops in every 2 r. - a total of 13 (14) 16 (17) times = on the needles 84 (84) 88 (92) p.

Go to the needles number 4.5 and knit 10 p. with an elastic band (= alternately 1 person., 1 out.).

Then close the hinges.

Unscrew the product = the side of the pattern connected by the front surface, inside, i.e. Wrong side of the pattern = front side of the product.

Sew in the lower sections of the sleeve. Fasten the ends of the threads.
